Can I take this opportunity to congratulate all our teams on a fantastic 2010-2011 season. From our U7's going all season unbeaten to the U11's winning the county cup, our U15's wining numerous trophies and last but not least our 1st team winning the Lancs Amateur Premier League. In a season of major transisition it is testament to all those managers/coaches & volunteers within the Dynamos family that we have had our most successful season ever. WELL DONE TO ALL!! I would also like to congratulate Mike Beresford & Phil Evans for winning the Matty D & Martin Harding awards - two people who have Dynamos running through their veins. My final message is to wish all players, managers, coaches & volunteers a successful and most of all an enjoyable season 2011-2012.
Neil -Hon President
I would just like to add my own congratulations to the two winner's of this year's individual awards at Dynamos. Phil Evans for the Matthew Harding Award and Michael Beresford for the Matty Dalton Award. Thoroughly deserved on all fronts and well done to both of you.
Tony Jordan
Would like to congratulate my under 15's in winning the Hoyland common Falcons 11 a-side-tournament in barnsley winning against some good teams along the way to the final..It was a great final with ourselves & another manchester team Delemere..we went 1 nil down but the hard work of the lads came through with cesaire lingouba leveling the score then louis smith running from defence to score a screamer of a goal in my opinion the best of the tournament, then our captain kane wallwork finished them off with a well taken goal..leaving us well deserved 3-1 winners and left us collecting our sixth trophy this season making it a fantastic season to remember for the under 15's..Well done Lads

We would like to add our congratulations to Bezza for winning the Matty D Award. He is a worthy winner and a true Dynamo as are his whole family who I know are very proud of him. Bezza knows what this award means to me and Jo and I know he will feel very honoured to have been nominated and chuffed to bits to have won it. Also well done to Phil for winning the Martin Harding Award another deserved recipient and a reward for alot of hard work over the last ten tears.
Gary & Joanne
Congratulations to Michael for winning the Matty D award last night at the presentation, can't tell you how proud we are of him. Also well done to Phil on winning the Martin Harding award, this also is well deserved, without Phil's hard work and dedication the club may well have come to an end.

Well done to the Ian , Boardy and the U7's on their tremendous first season in Dynamos colours and great to hear about the U10's dutch trip which from the write up and photos looks as though they have had a fantastic time. The lads must really appreciate what great managers and coaches they have to have organised this superb trip and hopefully its the frst of many in future years. Well done to Tony, Mike, John and Mick on what looks like a first class experience for the kids.

ian u7s
Anyone who has played, managed or coached in the junior / youth football world knows that the hardest thing to achieve is to win the county cup. Then after that, the hardest thing to do is win the county cup at Under 11s. Why? because every year, the interest from players and parents wains and in the U11's County Cup there are literally more than 100+ teams in the hat then at U12's less than 100 and then all the way to U16's when there might be only 40 teams or so. So for Failsworth Dynamos U11's to win the county cup is the most magnificent achievement. Myself and Gary Dalton was so proud when in 2006, our U11's became the first ever Dynamos team to reach the final but got beat in a great game by Fletcher Moss 4-2. We are more than happy to move over and see Tony Tapps and John Coops team go one better and become the first team to win it and so deservedly. Having run the team so well for the last 5 years Tony and John have created a team that is so tight knit and full of great kids who love playing the game and playing for each other. This was a real team effort and its great to see so many happy Dynamos faces (see the pic on the front page) A massive well done lads - Dynamos History in the making.
Leo Turner
just like to say well done to all my team mates and tony tapps and john coops for our county cup final win. we all played brilliant on sunday and deserved to come back with the cup, thanks to all the support from all the parents and anyone turned out from dynamos. lets keep this going and go for more in the season coming and show the tameside league who we are. championies championies oway oway oway.

What a day! I would like to thank all the Dynamos family and the players families for their wonderful support at our County Cup final yesterday. I thought the players were superb and thoroughly deserved the victory against a good Glossop North End side. Penalties was a harsh way to decide it but we kept our nerve and got the job done. I am a very proud dad and coach today! Just can't stop smiling!
Tony T U11a manager
Well Done Bally / Shent and Dan and the lads on the Runners Up achievement. The three of you have done these lads proud and its great to see you and the boys get some reward for your efforts. What about a photo of the lads and yourselves for a news item. Its always great to see the lads on the front page getting some recognition - and that goes to all the other managers too - We at Dynamos love winning trophies but at the end of day we are just as proud if not prouder of our managers and lads who have put everything into a season and kept going despite not having silverware to play for. Lets see your stories and pics on the front page eh? Just send them to TJ or myself (see contacts page)
Leo Turner
Massive well done to all the under 12's lads on finishing runners up, top quality performance needing to take a point off the league winners in the last game. The improvement of this team since we first began has been something else!!

Well done to Sandy, Alex and the U15s on their fantastic achievements this season. Any photos for the website Sandy? Lets see a story on the front page about this teams brilliant double. get the info to myself or Tony J and we will get it on the front page for you. Cheers. Leo

Well done to Phil Evans and the Under 14s on their promotion to the Tameside U15's first division next season. I was really glad to be able to get there for the second half and see Phil and his lads get their rewards for a hard fought season. Its great reward too for Phil who has always put 100% into his team since it was formed at U7s but this season has also took on alot of work at the club to be chairman of the youth section of the club and secretary of the community club. Well done Phil mate - you and your lads totally deserve this recognition and reward.
Leo Turner
Congratulations to the 14s. We held our nerves, played some fantastic football against a very competitive Bolton BSS team and came out 2.1 winners to clinch runners up. We've got a great squad that's improved week on week and all the players deserve recognition for what they've achieved this year. You've listened, you've learn't, you've put training into the matches. You got the rewards. Well done lads - its been a great season
Phil Evans 14s
Just wanted to say well done to phil and the lads, you have all worked hard this season , congratulations on being league runners up .
under 14s
What an achievement for the First Team. They joined the Lancs Amateur League four years ago and after winning the second division and the first divisions back to back, they spent last season finding their feet in the Premier league and this year storming it. Just a few weeks ago they had their leanest spell of the season suffering really unlucky semi final defeats and dropping a few points in the league and left themselves with the football challenge of a lifetime, not on their best form and had to win all five of their last five games. What a challenge and what a team. They did it and they did it by recovering everything that was good about them this year and finished it all off in style in front a great home crowd made of Dynamos of all ages. A massive well done to the management team of Wayne Kennedy and wayne Joynes on this magnificent achievement for themselves and Failsworth Dynamos.
Leo Turner
well done to the open age team for there league win it was a great game to watch, come on u11s A in our county cup final next sunday BEN HOUGH U11a TEAM
ben hough U11s A
Leo. Congrats on 4th place. It's a great place for a spring board for next season. The squad average age is spot on for the club to progress. Your ex junior players joining the open age squad on a Saturday is the way forward coupled with your senior players. My lads (2 years away) are being focused to join you. Well done and good luck for next season.
Phil Evans 14s
Very best of Luck to Phil Evans and the lads for their promotion challenge - publish the details phil and we will try and get there to support you and the boys mate - you deserve it. Good luck also to Wayne (the gaffer) Kennedy and the first team in their last match of the season at Brierley ave this saturday at 2.30pm. Win that match and they win the Lancashire Amateur league Premiership - we will be there lads to support you in trying to put the icing on the cake - what an achievement this could be. And finally, well done to my lads, the reserves last weekend as they secured a respectable fourth in the Lancs Amateur 3rd Division with probably the youngest ever Dynamos adult team. Five 16 year olds and a ridiculous average age of the team on the day of 18 and winning 2-0 away to Bacup. Watch this team next year everyone.
Leo
Best wishes to Wayne Kennedy and the open age lads on Saturday. I am sorry I will not be able to attend but will be with you in spirit. It is a remarkable achievement to have come so far so quickly and I hope you are victorious. Good luck!
Tony Tapper U11a
ONE LAST PUSH FOR THE 14s. Having lost our first 3 league games, the season looked like it would be a long one. 14 games later, 11wins, 2draws, 1defeat (against the Champions) and we're now just one win from being promoted back into the top division at the first time of asking. Well done lads. Lets give it everything for the last 70minutes of the season at Bolton BSS
Phil Evans 14s

There is so much achievement at the club in the last week it is fantastic. Wayne Kennedy jnr and ben lawsons u13s making two cup finals this season is fantastic. Sandy mckenzies lads having a storming season and beating a Dutch third division academy last sunday to name but two but the achievement of tony tapps and John coopers lads in reaching the county cup final at u11s is incredible. Only the second dynamos team to ever reach the final and hopefully the first to ever win it. Good luck lads and good luck to all the dynamos teams in their end of season games - let me know how you are doing at leomturner@aol.com

Since joining us last year Jacob has proven a popular member of our squad who understands that his goals stem from the hard work of his team mates. He is a pleasure to coach and a credit to his family. Keep it up jacob only 97 to go to your 200!!!

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank Phil Millward, his Under 11's players, spectators and supporters for a wonderful cup tie which was played on Sunday. It was certainly a game of two halves and we were lucky to be progressing into the next round, after a determined display by your players. I'd be grateful if you could pass on the Didsbury Juniors thanks to all those connected with Failsworth Dynamos who donated towards our Christie collection, it is much appreciated. Best wishes for the rest of the season

Hey - Congratulations Declan - 100 goals for Dynamos - what a brilliant brilliant achievement - oh and well done to all your team mates too - you have two great teams around you at your age group with a brilliant management team and your goals are an achievement for them too and their brilliant style of football. Thank you to all the players, officials & parents who attended at the Remeberance Day parade this morning. Our Community Club was well represented with about 60-70 members marching in the parade and at the service at the Cenataph. All the players behaved impecably and made me feel very proud to belong to such a great Community Club. Special thanks must go to Boris Bentley, it was his idea and he has been heavily involved in the organising and joined me in the laying our wreath. BORIS YOU ARE A TRUE DYNAMO MATE!! Once again thanks to all who attended.

We would just like to announce to everyone the results of The Matty Dalton Balloon Release. We had 110 balloons returned with 2 found in Germany and one in France. Unfortunately one of the Germany tickets was badly weather damaged and un-identifiable. However, the winning ticket was the French one having travelled 685 miles, second was the other Germany ticket traveling 565 miles and third 252 miles to Woodbridge in Suffolk. A full list of all the tickets will be available on the website soon and the winners notified in due course. Finally Joanne and I would like to thank everyone who has helped us over the last 5 years whether in buying a ticket or selling them but especially all those friends and family who have been there for us throughout by helping to prepare and release the balloons in memory of Matty, there are too many of you to name but you all know who you are and we will never forget your love and support.

Here's the first update on the progress of the balloons. So far we have had over 50 tickets returned mainly from the Yorkshire and East Coast areas such as Sheffield, Lincoln, Grantham, Skegness and others. However, the great news is we have already had one from France and one from Germany. Its still early days yet but who knows Australia is still a possibility again. Thanks.
Gary & Joanne
Can I wish all teams within the Failsworth Dynamos Community the best of luck for the coming season. Our three adult teams have all had great starts to the campaign and I will be keeping an eye on all teams in all the sections of the club as the season progresses, so don't be surprised if you see me at one of your games at the Soccer Centre, Lord Lane or Wright Robinson 3G. C'MON DYNAMOS!!!
Neil - Hon President
First of all I would like to congratulate Leo Turner & Bradley Clegg for winning the Martin Harding & Matty D awards for 2010. Both winners were very worthy recipients and I'd like to thank all those who put in nominations. I was not at the balloon release this year due to being on holiday but I was pleased to hear that even though the weather was not brilliant the event was well supported and I thank all those who were involved. Gary & Joanne Dalton's continued support for the club through the 'Matty D' fund has always been a massive help and, even with the recent club transition, the club will always remain supportive of them. I urge all members of our club never to forget the memory of Matthew as he, as much as any player, manager or coach, has galvanised us into the great club we are. 'MATTY D' - A DYNAMO FOREVER!!!
Neil - Hon President
We would like to take this oportunity to say a massive thank you to everybody who made the Balloon Release yet again a memorable and fitting tribute to Matty on Saturday. The weather tried to put a dampner on things but thanks to the efforts and enthusiasm from all our friends and family we managed to release over 2600 balloons on yet another emotional day. There are too many people to mention but you all know who you are. We would like to congratulate Leo Turner and Bradley Clegg for winning the Martin Harding and Matty D awards respectively both well deserved. The last five years have been very difficult but with the love and support we have received from the club we have managed to keep Matty's memory alive. Finally I would like to thank Joanne on behalf of the club as if it was not for all her organisation and patience in raising the amount of money we have then there may not have been a club to be proud of. Many of you wear Matty's name on your shirts and this would not have been possible without her efforts.
Gary & Joanne
we would like to congratulate all the lads in winning the BEECHFIELD TOURNAMENT..

I just wanted to thank everyone who went along to the 'U9s dads & lads' trip to Old Trafford for the 20/20 game between Lancs and Derbyshire last weekend. Just a note to say how sorry I am to hear that Leo is stepping down. In my short time in this area, I have come to look up to Leo as Mr Dynamo, and have the greatest respect for the job he has done for the club. As chairman of West, I understand the situation acting as a volunteer and hope for Dynamo sake he will change his mind. I know that there are times when there are not enough hours in the week and when he must have thought, what are all these other issues, when I just want to provide soccer for the children. Best of luck Leo, I do not know where the club will find someone with your aura and drive to take it forwards. Good luck, Mike Thorpe

To lose in extra time of the cup final today after losing another cup final to a penalty last Friday to the same team has got to hurt even the most hardened of players and managers but all that said lads - still wouldnt swap any of you for any of them.
Leo & Gary - Manager U15's
As much as I would big up my pals at the club like Neil, Deb and Dave because they deserve bigging up, Dynamos has to be much bigger than any of us individuals. There is still plenty of time before the AGM in June. Out of nearly 400 families at the club and some of the brilliant people we have met, surely there are a handful of people who are prepared as we were as parents to step up to the plate and do a voluntary job for a while for a great club. Thanks for your comments though - wouldnt want you to think that they are not appreciated.
Leo
HI Leo, so sorry to hear that you will be stepping down as chairman this year, I would like to say a huge thank you for all you have done for Failsworth Dynamos and all the support you have given me dynamos will never have a better chairman and we`ll never be the same :( we will not forget all you have done for us, There sonly one Leo Turner - Thanks a million. Leo, we were so sorry to hear you will not be standing for re-election as our Chairman. You have been a wonderful Chairman and worked so hard for the club and achieved many great things, you will be a very hard act to follow. We would like to thank you for all you have done to make dynamos such a great club to be a part of. Jake Mason & family Wayne Kennedy's under 13's

I would just like to wish our U15 Sunday lads all the best this Friday in the League Cup Final v Moston Junior Reds. As Leo has said previously these players have been absolutely outstanding this season in reaching 2 cup finals against all the odds. They just keep defying all the obstacles put in front of them as showed on Sunday when we came back from 2-1 down to beat Clayton Villa 3-2 after starting the game with 9 men for 20 mins before another player arrived, but even then we had 2 players carrying injuries before the end of the game. You just keep surpassing everything that me and Leo ask from you boys and we are so confident that with a full squad of 13 on Friday we will bring home that trophy. Just keep believing in yourselves.
Gary D
Well guys that was a long hard season, but a great way to finish it off with a 6-0 win over Boundery Park well done to all of you espiacially Lewis C with 4 great goals ( pay up time notorious) You have all been a pleasure to work with this year and a credit to this great club so bring on the tournaments, I can,t wait, Thanks also to duggie your input is invaluble and of course to notorious P D.O.F not fogetting all you dynamos parents who stood there every game and training session adding your welcome support so once again I THANK YOU
S Prince U7s SP manager
BIG THANKYOU TO DYNAMOS PLAYERS,COACHES AND PARENTS FOR THEIR EXCELLENT BEHAVIOUR AND FAIR PLAY THIS MORNING IN OUR BILLY'S RYDER CUP.
LEE
Well guys you signed off the season with a great 6-0 win over Boundary Park. Just like to thank all the kids for their effort over the year and for Princey & Duddy for giving their time up for the kids. Just a little bit dissappointed at Princey in todays game as he didn't replace Lew .C. after his 1st goal, as he eventually cost me a fortune with his 4 goals. lollllllllllllllllll. Well done everyone and looking forward to our tournaments...............
Paul, Director of football U7's SP.
hi leo regarding Adams glasses they are not special glasses they are normal glasses which have plastic lenses and he wears them with a band to stop them falling off the ref in question wouldnt listen and said his lenses were made of glass and would shatter which cant happen as you said he has never in 10 years of playing had this problem before i just thought i would straighten this fact about special glasses as i would not like you to have incorrect facts i hope this clears up the matter but Adam is still really upset about this and i would not like any other child to be penalised in this way
debbie merrington
I dont usually go on the guestbook and mention mine and Gary's U15's as I dont want to appear biased but their achievements in the last week or so cannot go without mention. After being left with 10 players for a game back in October and having to play with a squad of 11 and 12 all year after a little rebuilding, we have been pushed to the limit this year and have spent our first season ever languishing near the foot of the league table. The last few weeks has seen us climb off the foot and start to climb the table but then make 2 semi finals against very different but high quality competition. We would have been proud of the lads making one final this year but to win them both and make two finals is nothing short of heroic with the two best ever performances this team has ever put in. Dave Merrington says something below about our U17s and it is true. Our club Motto. TRUE WORTH NEVER FAILS and it doesnt. Massively proud of you lads.
Leo Turner
Hi Adam - Got your message on the guestbook re the referee not allowing you to play with your specially made glasses. I have spoken to your manager Seb and we will be looking into what we can do to make sure that this doesnt happen to you again. You have always been a credit to the club and I have always admired the way that you have never allowed the fact that you wear glasses for football interfere with your enjoyment of the game and your 100% effort and attitude and you can rest assured that Dynamos will make sure that no one ever prevents you from doing so again or they can expect some stern opposition from ourselves. Please send me the specification of your glasses via Seb and I will write to the League and the FA. Best Regards. Leo
Leo Turner
well done to the u17's for reaching their 7th cup final in 7 years
Debbie Merrington
The Dynamos U17 shone bright again today. Cup semi final in the bag 7th final in 7 years. 'True Worth Never Fails'.
Dave Merrington
Well done U7's SP on a great result, Bailey great 1st goal for the club, and Lew .C. with an absolute wonder goal to win the match 2-1 after going a goal down to West. Jack, congratulations on m-o-m today, but as always you all worked hard for the result. Last game next week guys lets go out with another win.
Paul, Director of football U7's SP.
hi leo its adam from the under seventeens do you know the rule for players with glasses playing football because i was stopped from playing our game on tuesday for the first time in 7 years. Can you help?
Adam Merrington
A great big congratulations to the U15'S Sunday team you did yourselves proud what a win u played your hearts out. Leo amd Gary could not have asked for more ! Mrs J

Went to watch Leo and Gaz's Under 15's team in the semi final today against Moston Junior Blues, Dynamos won 1-0 and played some quality football and really deserved the win. It was great to watch the lads perform so well and win, they never gave up. Well done.
Tracey
What a fantastic performance from our U15 Sunday lads today in beating league leaders Moston Blues 1-0 in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup reaching the final for the FOURTH year on the trot. This was made even more remarkable considering that we lost 8-1 to the same team earlier in the season. Every lad ran his socks off and battled for every ball and considering we only has 12 players to chose from and only 11 for most of the second half due to injury this just showed what these lads are capable of. We also had great support from the parents and I am sure they were as proud of you all as me and Leo were. Roll on the final, you all deserve it.
Gary D
After the season we have had with all its ups and downs today's performance against Stalybridge was probably the one that showed what a great set of lads we have more than any other. We knew we would only have 11 players to start with but when two more players dropped out at the last minute we went into the game with just 9 lads. We not only won 3-1 but could and should have scored 10. The effort was tremendous and even the opposition manager complimented us on some of the football we played. I am sure with a full squad we can still salvage something from this season especially as we have qualified for 2 semi's. Well done guys me and Leo were proud of you today(even if we dont show it sometimes).
Gary D U15's Sun
this is getting boring now but what can i say well done guys beaten by the odd goal, you are a pleasure towatch and the comments of the opponants is warming to say the least ..they cannot beleave this is the same team they played earlier in the season,,all credit to to you guys for the effort and hard work you are all putting in ..well done Niall P text book performance in goal for MOM ..hard luck Lewis C we all know the ball was over the goalline and hey the rest of you were great ...cheers sP

first class gary a night to remember everyone on our table had a great night. what a band you pulled out all the stops for agreat cause.

u13s played Stalybridge Celtic in a friendly on Lord Ln this morning. Dynamos are 2nd bottom of the Tameside 1 st division and Stalybridge Celtic are on course to be champions of the East M/cer league but Dynamos show'd just how good a team they are by drawing 3.3 with Celtic. The lads were magnificent and a pat on the back goes to Tom Hudson with the 3 goals. Well done lads - told you you're a good team, you just need to believe in yourselves. Phil

My comments in full are in the news item on our front page (click refresh to ensure you see the tribute to Gary's gala dinner). Suffice to say that with probably less suppport than he deserves and without really involving anyone else from the club, Gary Henderson and his family never fail to produce a first class annual Gala Dinner and somehow seem to make each year the best and 2010 is no exception. What a great atmosphere and with successful fundraising for the cub as well. On behalf of all of us - Well done Gary.
Leo
Best Gala Dinner yet! Thanks to Gary and family for organising a great night. Mike and Sue Carr
Mike Carr
May I be one of the first to say what a fantastic night we had at our Gala Dinner last night at the City of Manchester Stadium. The food, entertainment and fund raising were superb and I am sure all those that attended will agree. Yet again a massive thanks must go to Gary Henderson and his family who put so much effort in to ensure this was a successful night for Dynamos. He also managed to arrange for Shay Given and Pablo Zabelletta to attend which went down really well(especially for the Blues amongst us) Well done to everyone who helped to raise much needed funds for the club.
Gary D
Well done 9's B who won the Tameside & District league cup today with 2 games to spare. 14 straight wins and a goal difference of 102 gives them the title. Well done lads Mike Carr U'9s B

Well done to the Under 9's B team who broke through the 200 goal mark for the season. 205 goals for and only 17 against so far. Well done lads Mike Carr U'sB

Well played again guys on Saturday, as we keep saying all the games this season are a learning curve as you head in to the u8's next season so the scoreline doesn't matter. Chaz another m-o-m performance well done, and Lewis.C. you had their defence in bits during the game mate as you put them under all sorts of pressure, but as I say every week each 1 of you are a credit to the team, keep it up.............
Paul, Director of football U7's SP.
Well done to the boys for a well-deserved victory over Springhead on 21/3/10. 5-2 ! Congratulations lads. We played some fantastic passages of football and made some great chances. Lets hope the win will give us the confidence to play like that every week , now the newer players are settling in and things are coming together. Keep up the good work lads. Steve.
steve cook; u'15's R&OL
Well well guys we scored two and they scored one ............but we lost 3.0 oopps...never mind heads up..just an unlucky day..you took the game to them and some of the football was total quality. The 3 pass move from our box to theirs was breathtaking unlucky with the finish lewis D . On another day lewis C would have bagged a hat trick, but that is what makes this game so great you never know on the day . Well done chas MOM and guys I can,t ask any more of you because you are doing it week in week out, just keep it up me and duggie and notorious P are proud as always SP

Billy Jordan U9s
Just to say a big thank you and Well Done to the dynamos Charter standard team who lost on penalties to a fantastic Irlam side who are 4th in the North West Counties. It was a fantastic game and our passing and movement for the first goal was fantastic. Every player 1 to 14 played above and beyond the call of duty. Wayne Joynes introduced a new system and the lads adapted to it really well. This is the second year we have lost out on penalties so last hope next year we learn from our mistakes.
Simon Cooper
Unlucky on Saturday guys against 1 of the best sides around in Vulcans, you gave it your best shot. Just keep your heads up and think about the next game, well done Chaz on m-o-m you deserved it mate. Once again well done guys keep up the hard work and keep listening to your gaffer, he does know a little bit about the beautiful game although he is a city fan.
Paul, Director of football U7's SP.
I'm sure everyone within the Dynamos U9s set up would like to take the opportunity to join me in wishing Niall Webb all the best as he begins an eighteen month stint with Rochdale FC. Niall's a smashing lad and a great Dynamo. The squad will miss having him around both at training and on match days, but we can only wish him good luck and hope things go well for him with this opportunity.
Tony Jordan U9s
Congratulations to the U15'S SAT Team in the Cup Final against Whitemoss what a win ...... your performance was outstanding . Thanks to all the parents for their continued support week in week out ...... Thanks once again Matt

Congrats to our U15's Sat team for bringing yet another piece of silverwear to the club. Beating White Moss in the final was a great achievement and will hopefully set the ball rolling for several of our teams to go on and win trophies this season. Well done to all concerned.

Well done to the U15s Saturday team who won their cup final yesterday! Brilliant win. Thanks to Matt and Michelle for all their hard work and commitment.
Mrs T
Well done today u6s played Man City U6s and won the first game and lost the others by the odd goal there wasn't much difference between us and a very good Man City side so well done boys.
Ian
On behalf of everyone within the U9s set up, I'd like to congratulate Matt and Michelle on the great cup win by our U15s Saturday team. Well done to everyone concerned.
Tony Jordan U9s
Well guys as I keep saying every week another superb performance again today against West End who beat you earlier in the season 6-0, to lose to a last minute goal was unlucky as you pressed them all the way, taking the lead twice. Well done Lewis. D. on your 2 goals and Lewis.C. on another m-o-m award but as I said you all deserved it today after another great effort, even the West End manager commented on the effort of the kids and how they've improved dramatically since the last time they met, so credit goes to Stevie.P. for all the commitment and coaching he's giving to this great bunch of kids so keep it up guys you are all a credit to the club.
Paul, Director of football U7's SP.
Well done to the Under 15's today in their cup final win against White Moss 2 -1. All the lads played brill and never gave up. Well done to Matt and Michelle too for all their support and commitment.

Well guys what an absolute magnificent result today against Broadway Celtic who beat you 2-0 earlier in the season. Harrison started it all off, then a quick fire hat-trick for Lewis.C. and a strike from Kayley to make it 5-0. A strong performance from m-o-m Nathan and Charlie at the back virtually gave Niall a day off in the net. Jack didn't let anything past him in the midfield with Connor & Lewis.D. all having chances near the end to score. Bailey!!!!!!!!! where did you learn to do all that trickery from, absolutely superb. Anyway well done on the result kids it's been coming for weeks and now it's arrived enjoy the moment. Also well done Duggy on your 1st game in charge. Brilliant today all of you.
Paul, Director of football U7's SP.
Well guys i think we had more chances in that game than we have had all season it was a great perfomance which deserved a better result but keep up that standard of play and we will be ok well done bailey M.O.M and Lewis D fiirst goal for the team
s Prince U7s SP/MD manager
Well another great effort kids today, you should've at least come away with a draw, but never mind. Well done Bailey on your m-o-m award today and Lewis D on your 1st Dynamos goal. Keep going guys.

Despite losing 3-1 away to Hopwood Lads today (14/2/10), I would like to compliment the lads on their performance. We were not out of this game until the ref blew the final whistle, creating 4/5 excellent chances in the last 20 mins. The whole team put in a fantastic shift. I could mention every single one of them, I was proud of them all. The fitness work we have started concentrating on at training is already paying off, eh lads ? It was the best team effort I have seen for a long time. Let's knuckle down at training , and I'm sure we can surprise a few opponents before the end of the season Steve.
steve cook; u'15's R&OL
Well done guys on yet another great performance from you all. You are beginning to listen at what your coach is telling you and getting results. 2-2 against another good side in Moston Brook. 2 great goals from Lew C, especially the thumping volley for your 2nd which no keeper would've saved. Anyway kids keep listening and learning and no doubt next season will be a good 1, once again everyone well done.
Paul. (Lewis C's dad) U7's SP/MD
Well done everyone on what I thought was your best performance of the season so far against a very good West End outfit. Don't worry about the score, this season is a learning curve for you all, & I say it every week the improvement is there to see. Well done............
Paul (Lewis C's dad) U7's sp/md
well boys for the second week you totally dominated the game but were punished for a couple of lapses in concentration we just have to sharpen up that is all it is. We will work on it in training cos beleave me when it clicks you will be awesome, well done to niall P MOM great keeping son your coaching with Zak is really showing now good to see Nathan H back afetr injury and illness and once again guys well done keep it up proud of you as always

Good luck tomorrow guys, keep up the good work......
Paul. (Lewis C's dad). U7's SP/MD
Just like to say what a great performance we saw today from our U15's in the County Cup even though we lost 1-0 to Moston Juniors who had beaten us 6-1 in a previous league game. We dominated 75% of the match but just couldnt convert any of the many chances we created. Our defence was superb, the midfield battled for everything with some tremendous passing movements and our strikers worked tirelessly to defend from the front. We did not get what we deserved lads but if we continue to play with that committment and workrate we will get something from what has been a difficult season. Be proud.
Gary
Well done everyone on a great performance, especially the 1st half when they scored 2 great goals, 1 screamer from Lew. C. but Harrison finished off, what well could be a contender for goal of the season after some magic passing from 1 end of the field to the other which was a joy to watch. Should've been 4-1 up but a dissallowed goal let Stalybridge claw their way back and salvage a draw, 3-3. Anyway once again well done to you all you are improving dramatically every week.................
Paul (Lewis. C's dad) U7'S "B"
well done to the U15s Saturday team through to the final beating Brendon Bees 8-1 bring it on .. sorry brew trolley in for repairs lol

got so excited about steve cooks u15s scoring 9 goals i said we beat stalybridge i meant to say springhead sorry for the mistake
debbie merrington
Went to watch Steve Cook's U15s on Sunday V Springhead. The lads went down 3 - 0 in the first half and it looked like here we go again. After a bit of ralying and shouting they got themselves back in the game and was 3 - 2 at half time. The second hal saw the best display of football I have seen from the lads in the 5 years I have been watching them. Hard work good passing and teamwork saw them win convincingly 5 - 9. Superb result lads. Well done Steve. Keep It Going
Dave Merrington U17s Manager
well done to Steve Cooks U15s Sunday team who beat stalybridge 9-5 in a hard match in dreadful conditions after losing 3-0 by half time it was 3-2 all the lads were brilliant and kept their heads up lets hope we can continue this way well done Steve and the lads

A huge thank you to the management team of our Under 9's , Tony, John and Mike who invited Neil, Deb, Julie and I to their U9's Parents Christmas meal at Sul Lago on Friday night. We hugely enjoyed the evening which demonstrated the massive support teams like our Under 9's receive from some great parents who help to make this great club what it is. Since thanks goes to one particular parent in Sharon Skinkiss-Loftus who organised the evening which was a huge success - thanks again everyone.
Leo, Neil, Deb and Julie

I would like to thank everyone at Dynamos for the great 4 years my son Daniel has had at the club. Due to other commitments he has decided to call it a day with the u14'S and we would like to wish the team success for the remainder of the season and beyond also a special thankyou to Steve Hank and Leo for great memories both on the pitch and at the brilliant presentation nights.

Leo, thanks for the kind words, it was all down to, two great mates of mine at Manchester City who always have the kids at heart. I just passed the tickets on to the right people. I would like to thank all the Failsworth mob who I had a great day with. I can't remember the lads name, all I know is that he plays centre forward for the under 7's can you thank him for the two fags that he lent to me. Hopefully we can do it all again soon.
Les
A huge thanks to Les Varden of Kippax Boys who sorted out a shed load of tickets for about 70 Dynamos people to go to the Man City v Hull game yesterday. Les is one of the real characters of Grass Roots Football. He is always sorting something out for somebody else and is an all round great bloke. Thanks Les. They all enjoyed the day (apart from the equaliser of course) and we all really appreciate it mate.

Well done lads on the 1st win of the season a great performance all round a great goal from harrison and a brilliant finish from lewis C on the turn with his back to goal ( a goal rooney would of been proud of) some 1st class defending from M.O.M nathan and the ever impressive Charlie and the all roudn team effort from jack bailey lewis connor and the super star keeper niall Keep up the good work lads and there will be many more wins to come.
Mike D - U7's B Assistant
A special mention to my goalkeeper Zak Booth who scored his first of the season with an excellent kick which bounced once and straight over the head of the unlucky Medlock keeper. A great goal which Zak has been threatening a few times this season. A lot of credit goes to the keeper training sessions run by Zack G and to Zak himself who trains in any weather and is determined to be the best young keeper around and I haven't seen a better one yet. Well done Zak and keep it up.

Now and again the guest book is used by people to make comments about something they are not happy about at the club. This is not what the guestbook was intended for as this is a website predominantly to promote the club and give news out. This is not to say that as a club we do not face up to issues and complaints to make the club a better organisation to be part of because in the main, everyone at Dynamos works hard to make the club a great place to be for all the players and parents. Now and again if someone comes forward with fair criticism we will listen. We will take what they say on board providing it is raised in the right fashion and most of the time you will see something change as a result because we welcome your constructive comments and your feedback. With that in mind, instead of posting comments on the guestbook I would invite you to email me directly at leoturner@failsworthdynamos.co.uk and you will always get a reply within 24 hours or ring me on 07725407839 to have a chat instead. You can always leave a message and I will always get back to you.
Leo Turner (Chairman - Failsworth Dynamos)
Well done to both teams in Sat Unders 8s derby. I was proud of both sets of players who tackled hard and showed great skill on the ball. The lads really put on a show for all the dynamos people who kindly put aside their Saturday mornings to come and see us.
Tim J U8b Mgr
I went to watch the U8s "derby" today at the soccer centre after our own game and what a match it was. It was end to end stuff with both teams showing a level of skill and determination that outshone their years. There was great skill, great tackles and great goals from both sides. The coaches of these players deserve a special mention as their sheer enthusiasm transmitted to the players to produce a great spectacle. Well done to Tim Joyce, Jon Cooper, Mike Hukin, Steve Cain and Mick Cooper for their efforts and finally to all the players who put on a fantastic show for all who came to watch.
Tony T U10a manager
Fantastic result on Saturday the whole team played a fab game and we deserved to win. A massive thanks from us goes out to Neil and Michelle for the hard work they have put in over the last few (difficult) weeks. Also to Lee (Billy's dad) and a big welcome to Mark and bring on Heyside next week.
Lucy, Dave and Dylan Under 11's A
After all that has happened in the last couple of weeks I would like to say well done to our Under 15's (Sunday) for battling through the first round of the County Cup yesterday. The lads have had a lot to contend with recently and although we made it hard for ourselves to reach the next round after coming from behind to win on penalties was a great achievement. There were some tremendous performances but to see Matty Green in the shoot out save four penalties with oustanding saves was awesome. Hopefully lads this will give us this confidence to go on from here as long as we show the right attitude.
Gary
Well done again on Saturday U7's "B", you were all superb. Never mind about the score but it is beginning to come together now after all your hard work you put in in training is beginning to pay off. You are all a joy to watch, keep it up lads.
Paul (Lewis' dad).
Unlucky U7's "B" Team on saturday against a well drilled Stalybridge. Everyone of you, Niall.P, Nathan, Connor, Bailey, Jack, Charlie and Lewis all ran your little socks off. On to your next game boys and carry on from where you left off. Well done Niall on m-o-m award with some great saves, and unlucky Lewis on your dissallowed goal. It's a joy to watch how each and everyone of you are improving week in, week out, well done.
Paul, (Lewis' dad).

Another good win for the U14s 5-3 away at Denton coming back from 1-0 to win quite convincingly. Goalscorers were Perry Oatway,Brad Robinson,Cameron Mackenzie,A Linguuba 2 (Cisse to his mates).Nice to see so many parents there to support the boys need all the support we can get next week as we are away at Brendon Bees 11.30ko. So if you have any spare time come along and cheer the boys . Special mention to our M.O.M Kyle McGovern if ther is a better centre half in the league I have yet to see him. Well done lads I am very proud of you all.

mick cooper u8s coach
Thank you for inviting Burnley FC Girls and Ladies Under 10s and 12s to your very well organised tournament. As the start of our season is just less than a week away this tournament has given us the ideal preparation for what I hope is a very successful season. I would like to pay my respects to Matty Ds family and friends who through sheer strength have made something positive come out of this very sad and untimely tragedy, I wish you all the very best for the future. Finally I would like to say how impressed I was with the opposition my team had in the tournament and even though we won, we did not have any easy games and I was suprised that some of the teams had very little experience as they seemed to be able to work together very well. Good luck to all for the upcoming season and thank you once again. Yours Sincerley Chris Holden
Chris Holden (BFC U10s Manager
As the Secretary & Honoury President of this great Club I feels it falls on me to thank everybody for what was a great weekend and another massive success for Failsworth Dynamos FC. The 'Matty D' Tournament has grown over the past four years into an event that tipifies all that is good about our Dynamos family. From the unstinting work done behind the scenes by our fantastic officials (too numerous to mention individually but you know who you are), to the the 'Balloon Team' helping Gaz and Jo send those thousands of balloons up on Sunday, all the teams, coaches & parents who play their football and support us in putting on the event and the referees without who we would not be able to play. With the sad loss of Billy Grogan, a friend who will be missed greatly, coinciding with Matty's balloon release it could have been a sad day on Sunday but I hope Billy would have been looking down and been heartened by the football played and the minutes cheering and clapping held prior to the 4000+ balloons going up. A sad but great weekend that will live with me for a long time. Once again a MASSIVE THANK YOU!! to all those who made it possible especially our Chairman and Tournament coordinator Leo.
Neil - Sec & Hon Pres
A massive thank you to everybody at this great club for all their help and support yesterday and over the whole of the weekend. It was probably the best balloon release ever, not so much in numbers, but in the way they soared so high and fast with only a handful having to be re-floated. The respect that was shown at the moment of release will stay with us forever and can you believe that many people yet again saw a letter "M" form as they rose! Lets hope we get a good response with returned tickets and who knows we may beat our record distance from last year? Finally can I just say how proud I was to be part of this club with all the effort put in by so many people especially Leo who has sweat blood and tears to ensure the tournament was such a huge success. Neil who ensured the two days ran smoothly as well as all the other work he puts in pre-tournament. Special thanks to all the people in the catering tent, the shop, the runners, the refs, Pete for his brilliant photos, our friends and family and all the managers who gave up two days to make OUR tournament the best in the country. The whole weekend epitomises what our club is all about, community spirit, support and the family ethic that is Failsworth Dynamos. We are both overwhelmed to see the committment , dedication and love you all show to our Matty who will be a Dynamo Forever.
Gary & Joanne
Well done to everybody who took part in the Matty Dalton Tournament (Sunday, 30th). The balloon race was amazing as they all filled the sky and floated away! It was a brilliant day, thank you for the invite and hopefully see you next year!
Heyside Angels Clarets Under 10's
Well done to everybody who took part in the Matty Dalton Tournament (Saturday 29th), as our first tournament it was really enjoyable and everybody played well! It was a brilliant day, thank you for the invite and hopefully see you next year!
Heyside Juniors Under 7's
I have just returned home from a thoroughly enjoyable weekend refereeing the Matty Dalton Tournament. I thought the whole tournament was a great success and in particular the manner in which the tournament medals were presented by Wayne, Neil and Leo was excellent. Previously i have only read press about under7s and under 8s tournaments and i have to say i thought the idea of them being non competitive was ridiculous but having spent this weekend watching it first hand and the way a huge fuss was made out of each individual who played my opinion has completely changed. I watched most of the medals being presented and it was clear that the kids absolutely loved the event. It was clear that an immense amount of work goes into this event, from tournament committee right the way down to the runners who take in the results and i think everyone present would agree that this effort culminated in a fabulous 2 days (and somehow you even managed to get away with the weather despite the grey skies). In Closing, Whilst this is an event born from great sadness i thought it was wonderful the way Matty's memory was honoured and i am not ashamed at all to say that when the baloons were released i felt quite emotional despite the fact that before saturday morning i knew nothing about the event, the people or the circumstances involved. I spoke with a variety of people over the weekend who had nothing but good things to say about the club and the event and all of the feedback i heard was positive. I wish the club every success for the 2009/10 season and look forward to refereeing your teams throughout the season. Simon King

what can we say? amazing gesture by FAILSWORTH DYNAMOS for our BILLY today. THANKYOU!
FAILSWORTH WEST JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB
We would like to thank matty daltons family and all at failsworth dynamos f.c for inviting Denton Girls F.C to there yearly tournament today. We had a great day and hope to join you all again next year. Well done to all that entered, its not the winning that counts but the turning up and fun to be had by all on the day. Thank you once again Denton Girls F.C.
Denton Girls F.C.
What a fantastic weekend, it just epitomises how great the Club is to see everyone pulling together to make it a success, and it was. It has been a pleasure working with John, Gary, Barbara, Michelle, Karen and Mike on the Parents Committee and we can only hope we go from strength to strength after this weekends efforts. Also thanks to all who helped us in the catering tent, sorry don't know everyones names to mention but you know who you are. Big thanks to Matt for running around everywhere for us and fixing everything. Big thanks to my sister Julie who helped us today. The best moment of all was the releasing of the balloons for Matty and how fantastic they looked when they were released. Me and my family are all proud to be part of such a great club. Heres to a successful season for all teams.
Tracey
Well done to everyone who took time out to help with this weekend's tournament. It was a fantastic two days, perhaps the best one yet, and those who gave up their spare time to see the whole thing through are a credit to the club. It's a real shame such a great weekend had to coincide with the sad loss of Failsworth footballing legend Billy Grogan. I'm sure all of Billy's family and the people involved with Failsworth West would have been moved at the sight of the mass round of applause Billy received before our balloon release for Matty on Sunday. RIP fella
Tony Jordan U9s
Just like to congratulate the newly formed U7's "B" team who played their 1st ever games together in the Matty D tournament. Every single player played their hearts out today and even winning a couple of their games. With a couple of players returning for the start of the season this team will be going places. Also a great big well done to Steve P for taking on the role of manager, he has got a great little bunch of players who no doubt will not let him down and give their all for him. Once again everyone, well done.
Paul (Lewis' dad)

Just a reminder to all Dynamos, players and parents that if you need any forms to sell balloons then please speak to me or your team manager who have been given forms to hand out to the players. Any managers who did not take the forms please either contact me or download them from the website. Thank you for all your efforts so far and dont forget its you, the players, who benefit, just ask our under 7's who are now proudly wearing the new kit sponsored from the Matty D fund. Also remember there is a prize for the player who sells the most balloons.

Well done 2 the lads on Saturday against Boundary park A and B. We played really well as a team, we took some knocks but being the team we are just got straight back up... and a brilliant day on the carnival. WELL DONE BOYS.
Alan bevan(mason roworth)under 7s
Laytons hopes came true as our U14's won the Brendon Bees's tournament today playing some great football and showing how good this squad can be this season as both teams that entered didnt lose a game between them. Its a tribute to all the lads that at least one team in all four tournaments that we entered reached the quarter finals or better and won two of them. We have new lads coming in this season and being a successful team and well run club is what attracts them. Its the big one next, the Umbro 11 a side, and if we take our form into that then we will have a great chance. Well done lads
Gary D
Well Done To The U14s Dynamos In The Chaddy End Tourney Lets Hope We Can Do Better In The Brendon Bee's Tournament This Sunday :)

Thanks and well done to all at Ansa Elevators for the hard work and dedication in providing another family fun day for their friends and employees at The Lancaster Club last weekend. Plenty of Dynamos players and families were there and the nice weather contributed to a great day out. The Ansa 5-a-side tourney was in fact won by the Dynamos Dads team, who parked their zimmer frames for the morning to take part. Well done boys (boys?)

Like many others we would like to thank everyone involved with yet another special Dynamos presentation day/night. Leo and Neil hosted the two sessions as efficiently as ever with John organising his little army of helpers to help keep everyone in order during the afternoon. Of course it is always a special occasion for me and Jo especially announcing the two recipients of Martin and Matty's awards who both totally deserved their reward for the committment they have both shown to the club, well done Dave and Millie, I am sure both Martin and Matty would be proud of you both.
Gary & Jo
Yet again another fantastic presentation night, thanks to Leo, Neil and all the managers and organisers for a great night. There is no club I know who produces a presentation night like Dynamos. Proud to be part of such a great Club.
Tracey and family
Congradulations to our under 15s teams. The A team won the Stockport Junior Blues Tournament with the B team reaching the semis. Can I also thank young Kano for going in goals for Mike to give him the chance to play out. This lad is a credit to the club. His parents must be very proud of him. Can I also thank Leo and Gary for all the work they both put in on the day. Without people like these the club will be a lot worse off. Thanks again. Bezies Grandad.butty.
Keith Butterworth
Just wanted to echo Gary's words what a fantastic day, both teams played brilliantly .... but must say the winners OMG played with their hearts on their sleeve and well deserved the praise and credit given .... Once again well done !
michelle James
Well done to our two U15's sides who entered the Stockport Junior Blues six a side tournament today and again showed what a squad of players we have. Both reached the semi-finals with unfortunately only one reaching the final but then winning it on penalties after an oustanding performance coming from 2-0 down. That was after probably the most unbelievable result in the semi-final when in a 5 minute each way game we won 9-1 against a team that had only lost one game out of ten all day and that was against us in the group stages. Superb efforts from all the lads on what was a very hot day and thanks yet again for the never ending support from all the parents, grand parents and families.
Gary
Hi to all managers/coaches U11's and upwards this is one last push can you please speak to your parents and see if you can get any one to help out on the afternoon of the presentation 20.06.09 ..... Thanks Michelle James ( U14's Sat )

Just wondered if anyone has any sponsor sheets out there or sponsor money for myself , Ben or Michael. We are hoping to have a final figure in time for presentation night and would ask that if anyone has collected any sponsor money on our behalf (or if you have not already sponsored out attempts and would still like to please feel free) please can you try and get it to us by next week - Friday 12th June. Myself & Michael are usually at the Soccer Centre on Weds & Thursday 6 - 7 pm or Friday 5-6pm. Alternatively if you want to e mail me I can arrange to collect it or let you have an address where you can drop it off. Many thanks from me, Michael and Ben

michelle
Just want to say a massive well done to Karen Wetton and Ben Lawson for their fantastic efforts in the 10k run on Sunday. We were so proud to see how they both put so much effort in to complete the course wearing their Matty D shirts and very emotional to hear how people shouted Matty's name. It meant alot for us to be there and I am sure it meant the same to Karen and Ben. We must also thank Michael Wetton yet again who once again beat his previous time in the junior run on Saturday and is such a great lad who embodies what Dynamos is all about. Thanks to you all.
Gary Joanne Dalton

Well done to our U17's who were today confirmed as Runners Up in the Tameside Sunday League U17's Division after waiting to see if the last game of the season would see them crowned as champs. This is a magnificent achievement for the lads given the upset that they went through half way through the season and credit goes to Sean Pickering, Tracey and Gary H and a number of parents who have rallied round with the lads to make sure that they are right where they belong. Playing for Dynamos and competing at as high a level as they can. Watch out for the lads of this team as they now become the reserves of Dynamos and play at a very high level of football in lancashire amatuer league on saturdays next season. These are a great set of lads and deserve the credit they are getting.
Leo - Chairman
Well done to Dave Merrington and the U16's. Both Dave and Geraldine have kept this team going for the last two years and the players have shown in that time that they deserved that backing as a great set of lads. They won the Rochdale and Oldham League Cup this afternoon in great style in terrible conditions and totally deserved their 2-1 win. Well done lads. You really deserve to be back in amongst the silverware.
Leo - Chairman
Well done U16s for a job very well done in bringing the league cup back to Dynamos where it belongs. Each and every one of you played like the champions you are. This was a dynamos performance to be well and truly proud of. You showed any doubters just why you deserved to be at the final and why you should have had your rightful place at the top of the league. Well done boys. I am proud to have been your manager for the last 2 seasons
Dave Merrigton
Congratulations to our U16's in winning their cup final this afternoon 2-1 against Milnrow. The result was never in doubt. Well Done!!
Neil - Sec & Hon Pres
Well done to the U17's for finishing second in the league, it came down to the last game of the season for Glossop to either draw or lose but unfortunately they won 4-2. Even so a great achievement for the lads in what has been a rollercoaster of a season. Thanks to Sean and Gary for their support and thanks to all the lads for putting in the effort and being a pleasure to watch.
Tracey
Watch out for some articles this week on the news page with the following headings: * BUPA Run For Matty D by The Wettons and Ben Lawson * Joe Rathbone signs for Oldham and plays his last game for Dynamos * Tribute to Steve Hankinson as he leaves Dynamos and a rally round to keep the U13's together for next season * Tribute to Jamie Blood as he prepares to take on his new role at Oldham Athletic * Big thanks to Alan Neatis as he steps away from his coaching role * Simon Cooper takes a back seat for a while and more and more articles everyday on the Dynamos website.

WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY GOOD LUCK TO JOE RATHBONE , HE PLAYED HIS LAST GAME FOR THE UNDER 10S YESTERDAY AND HAS NOW GONE ON TO PLAY FOR OLDHAM . I would also like to thank Steve Hankinson for the work he's done over the years. My son has enjoyed every minute and was upset when he learned of Steve's departure which says it all. I would also like to thank Fraser and wish Joe all the best at Rochdale. THREE HUGE LOSSES FOR DYNAMOS!!!
LEE BOYLING AND FAMILY
thanks to steve hankinson for all he has done for the current u13s

I just want to congratulate our U14's Sunday team after a great result last night against Swinton which saw us finish 3rd in what has been an extremely tough league this season. We were only one good result away from winning the title but credit to the two teams who finished above us Moston Jnrs and the winners Fletcher Moss who of course has a few of our old players in their ranks. Its onwards and upwards now lads for the final on Sunday with me and Leo confident that if we play like we did last night we can lift the trophy for the 3rd year on the trot. Thanks also to the parents for their continued support and lets hope we have something to cheer about on Sunday.
Gary D
Great news Dynamos Under 11s on winning at Avros..brilliant.Being a dad of a 7 year old goalie making a name for himself in this corner of Spain I can imagine just how proud all you parents are.Isn,t it more enjoyable watching the kids than it is the overpayed "grown-ups?". Enhorabuena FD,s great web site. Failsworth lad in Murcia.
Michael Sidebottoms uncle.
Just wanted to say how proud i am of all the boys of u14s juniors- its not been easy for Alan and me trying to keep all 20+ players happy whilst still trying to pick up some silverware. BIG thank you must go to parents and players for being so understanding and lets hope we can go on and win the double! GOOD LUCK TO ALL DYNAMOS TEAMS as they look to win cups and titles in the coming weeks. PA
Phil Aitken
I just want to comment on what a great game we witnessed in our derby against the "A" team on saturday. The game was played in great spirits and congratulations must go to both sides. The match could have gone either way and emphasises the improvement of our lads. To come out 2-1 victors against the same team that beat us 12-1 just a couple of years back is fantastic. A massive well done to both teams on a quality game of football.
Bally Under 10's B Team Manager
Can I be the first to congratulate Wayne Kennedy's Under 11s for winning the tournament at Avros this afternoon. Undefeated and beating Stockport, a team yet to concede a goal up to the final, 2-1 was a magnificent achievement. Special mention must be given to Wayne's 'Brian Clough' style management technique of having the team in the Windmill until 10 the previous evening and encouraging the parents to buy him numerous drinks. Well done the team and I feel more success is around the corner after an excellent season finishing 3rd and performing admirably against the teams finishing above. Congratulations Dynamos!!!!
Charlie's Dad
We would like to second the comments made by Charlies dad - fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved - third time lucky !!! Well done to everyone involved. Lets hope this is the start of even more success. Thanks to Wayne & Ben for all the time they put into the football with the kids. Congratulations to all the team !
